With all the pattern updates I have done so far over the last year, this is one that I have been most anticipating. Originally released in the fall of 2015 and called Alexander Casey, this pattern is re-releasing today with the new name, Malpeque Bay. This update includes completely re-drafted pattern pieces for a slimmer fitting leg, more tailored fit, and a new pocket and shorts length.
The first pattern update of 2019 has been released, and it's with perfect timing for those of us in the North who were hit over the weekend by a snowy winter storm. Designed specifically for fleece, this pattern is another cozy addition for your Pollywoggles Collection!
After a busy summer, the weather has started to turn to the crispness of Autumn here in Ontario. One of my favorite things about this time of year is how the temperature drops for the evenings. This always sparks thoughts of warm beverages and cozy fabrics. While I haven't pulled out the fuzzy blankets from our linen closet yet, I've got plans (and online shopping cart ready!) to make new flannel pajamas for all of my constantly-needing-the-next-size-up children!
And because I knew this season was coming, I have been getting the update done on my woven pajama pattern, which is re-releasing today under the new name, Simcoe!
There are some patterns that you find yourself going back to over and over. This is one of those patterns for me. This sweet summery dress is beautiful in its simplicity. Designed with straight lines and an easy fit, I think this has always been one of the most charming dresses in my collection. Originally released in 2014 and called Daphne Marie, this pattern has been renamed Okanagan, and there is so much about it to love!
Extra! Extra! Read all about it! Soon you will be able to do exactly that every month because starting in April, I will be launching a new way to stay connected with everything that is happening at Pollywoggles, through an email Newsletter!
This is going to be a way for me to share with you not only about new or re-released patterns, but you're also going to get a glimpse at some other aspects of my busy and creative life.
PLUS, I've updated my Reversible Headband pattern and you can get it for FREE... whether you sign up for the newsletter OR just want to try the pattern!
Thank you so much for stopping by my little corner of the digital world. When I'm not designing (or, more likely, attempting to keep up with housework or schooling my three rug rats!) you'll probably find me with my nose in a book, escaping for a few precious moments into a world of fiction or learning with single-minded focus about my latest interest. Here, I'd like to share with you some of the things that I'm currently working on and a bit about all the ways I like to keep my creative juices flowing!
Just for Fun...
