The nightgown add-on to the original Simcoe pattern adds versatility to a great staple pattern. With no closures and being built on the basic bodice from the Simcoe shirt, the two nightgown options have a wide, roomy fit through the chest for easy on and off. The style is reminiscent of a classic vintage style similar to those published by McCall's, Simplicity, or Butterick in the 1960's & 70's. This design features an empire waist and bottom ruffle and is a very free-flowing design with lots of ease. The shortie, or babydoll, 'vintage' length in particular truly showcases that classic wide fit..
