Behind the Name
The name “Yoho” might sound like it comes from a pirate song, but it is actually
the name of one of the four National Parks in the Rocky Mountains of British
Columbia, Canada. Yoho means “awe” and “wonder” in Cree and it couldn’t be a
more suitable name. This amazing protected space boasts some incredible
sights, including the beautiful Emerald Lake and some spectacular waterfalls.
Soaring peaks, sheer rock faces, and inspiring scenery are the hallmarks of this awesome park.
